Keona (Dam)This sweet girl is loyal to a core specifically to her mom in the family. She has a easy going personality. Loves water, hiking, walks and pretty much anything you are doing she will follow. She does not have a big herding instinct and generally is really laid back with all the farm animals. She loves and is very motherly to the baby goat kids in the spring time. Her off switch in general is fantastic! Loves the outdoors, camping and will following you anywhere, just as most Aussie's do, including the bathroom or right under your feet in the kitchen.

Trigger (Sire)This easy going boy is the sweetest and most calm Border Collie I think you will ever meet. He does not have a pray drive or herding instinct at all. He is very laid back. Prefers to be outside or in the truck going wherever we are. He has fantastic agility skills and we will be working more with him soon on water sports. He has a outstanding off switch with any activity we are doing. He loves his affection and will climb in your lap to ensure you are rubbing his belly. If you are familiar with most Border Collie personalities and drive he is by far unique and is an amazing family dog, so we can only hope his personality will follow to his pups!

Why Genetic Testing is Important for Breeding:
- Detects Hereditary Health Conditions: Many dog breeds are prone to specific genetic disorders. Testing allows breeders to identify carriers or affected dogs, helping prevent the passing of those conditions to puppies.
- Promotes Healthier Litters: By selecting breeding pairs that have been cleared of major genetic risks, breeders can increase the chances of producing puppies that will lead long, healthy lives.
- Supports Informed Breeding Decisions: Knowing a dog’s genetic profile allows breeders to match pairs responsibly, avoiding combinations that could result in unhealthy or at-risk puppies.
- Confirms Breed Purity & Traits: Genetic testing can verify breed ancestry and important traits like coat color, size, and temperament tendencies, helping maintain breed standards.
- Builds Trust with Buyers: Families looking for a new puppy appreciate the peace of mind that comes with knowing their puppy comes from genetically tested, healthy parents.
