4 Reasons to like goat milk1. Nigerian Dwarf Goats Milk we believe it tastes better among the different dairy breeds. Nigerian Dwarf milk has the highest level of butterfat, making it so creamy that it is often preferred over cow's milk.
2. Goat Milk is easier to digest than cow's milk. It's naturally homogenized, with smaller fat particles evenly suspended throughout the milk making it more easily absorbed then cow's milk. 3. Goat Milk is good for your skin and has the same pH as our bodies do. The compounds found in goats milk have moisturizing agents that are great for your skin. Goat's milk also has an excellent source of vitamin A which is great at improving your overall complexion and fighting skin conditions like acne and eczema. According to multiple skin care professionals, lactic acid, which is found in goats milk, can help eliminate old skin cells and brighten the overall tone of your skin. (1) 4. Goat Milk causes less inflammation and has a lower risk for allergens. Goats milk does not contain the A1 casein protein. A1 casein is know to produce inflammation in many intestinal conditions such as Crohn's disease, IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and leaky gut syndrome. There has also been further research that links the A1 casein protein to autoimmune disorders as well as skin complaints, such as those listed above. (1) |
what is the right goat for you?here are many different breeds of goats and different types, such as dairy, fiber and meat and well as different sizes. However, our focus of course is on Nigerian Dwarfs. If you are considering starting your own herd, looking for a dairy goat or a good companion and brush mower we have just the goats. The question is which one is right for you?
Wether: Wether's are castrated bucks. These males will no longer have the hormones that bucks do. Therefore, they make great companions, lawnmowers and pack goats, and generally have a very sweet and easy going personality. Some wether goats make great meat goats such as Boers. Doe: A doe is a female goat. They are great for milk production or breeding. They too are very sweet and love affection. However, if you don't plan to breed and/or have her produce milk for you. Then you may prefer to sick with a whether. Buck: A buck is a male goat. There purpose is to breed. They will get bigger and stockier then a whether due to their hormones. Bucks also go into "ruts" throughout the year. These ruts can be very smelly periods. Therefore, if you are looking for a stud for your herd then a buck is great addition to your herd. |
